Shore Excursions
Shore excursions are available at every port. The cruise line that you’re on may offer shore excursions for an extra fee. Check out availability at the excursion desk. Prices are usually stated per person, and the endurance level is stated as moderate to high impact. You can also book excursions ahead of time online.
Excursions Through the Cruise Line
- I recommend that you always get an excursion directly through your cruise line. They are responsible for your travel and safety, to and from the excursion. They will not leave you at the pier if you should be late returning to the ship from an excursion booked through the cruise line.
Going out on Your Own
- If you want to wing it and go on your own, it may be a little cheaper but make sure your bus or cab will be able to take you back to the ship on time or you might be watching your ship as it leaves the dock without you! Then it’s your responsibility to get to the next port. This could be very costly!
